In downtown Toyama, a rare sight in Japan unfolds — streetcars crisscrossing the city, making it a dream for train enthusiasts.
With the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen, the tram system was expanded to enhance urban mobility and convenience.
Locals affectionately call them “shiden,” and they’re an essential part of daily life.
