京都の祇園の街角に、春のやわらかな陽射しが降り注いでいた。石畳の道を歩く観光客の間を、優雅に歩く一人の舞妓。その白いおしろいに映える紅色の唇、繊細に結い上げられた髪、そして艶やかな着物の裾が風に揺れるたび、彼女の美しさが際立って見えた。

近くの茶屋の軒先で、その姿をじっと見つめる一人の外国人の男の子がいた。彼はまだ幼く、言葉もたどたどしいが、その瞳には純粋な憧れが宿っていた。彼の家族は旅行で日本を訪れており、今日は祇園を散策していたのだった。舞妓の美しさに目を奪われた彼は、思わず母親の袖を引っ張り、興奮気味に言った。

彼にとって、その優雅な立ち姿と上品な微笑みはまさにおとぎ話に出てくるお姫様そのものだったのだ。

そのとき、舞妓はふと視線に気づいたのか、ほんの一瞬、男の子の方を向いて微笑んだ。そして、優雅に会釈をしながら通り過ぎていった。

京都の風に舞う桜の花びらが、彼の心に刻まれた初めての“恋”のような感情をそっと包み込むように、ひらひらと舞っていた。

Her crimson lips that stood out against her white face powder, her delicately tied hair, and the hem of her glossy kimono swaying in the wind made her beauty stand out.

A foreign boy was gazing intently at her from the eaves of a nearby teahouse. He was still young and spoke haltingly, but his eyes were filled with pure admiration. His family was visiting Japan on a trip, and today they were strolling around Gion. Captivated by the beauty of the maiko, he instinctively pulled his mother’s sleeve and said excitedly.

To him, her graceful posture and elegant smile were the very image of a princess from a fairy tale.

At that moment, the maiko suddenly seemed to notice his gaze, as she turned to the boy and smiled for just a moment. Then she gave him a graceful bow as she passed by.

The cherry blossom petals dancing in the Kyoto breeze fluttered in the air, as if gently embracing the first emotion of love that had been engraved in his heart.
