【満開の牡丹とつつじ/愛媛】Full-blooming Peonies and Azaleas, Shikoku Japan/ 八幡浜市民スポーツパーク, 日浦つつじ園(行き方付), 浄明院の牡丹
Hello, we are Life in Shikoku. We go to see peonies and azaleas in Matsuyama City and the Nanyo region of Ehime Prefecture. Arrive at “Jyomyoin Temple”, a peony temple in Befu-cho, Matsuyama City. Let’s go inside. Beautiful peonies at the entrance. Many pots of various flowers are placed in the precincts. Peonies in front of the main temple are also beautiful. Let’s go to the garden. The garden planted with a variety of flowering trees and shrubs. A bee is busy. The garden is filled with flowers and greenery. Statues of Bodhisattvas and Tathagatas. Vivid peony. The double cherry blossoms still remain. The tent outside is also filled with beautiful peonies. Let’s leave Jyomyoin Temple. Head for “Hiura Azalea Garden” in Ozu City. From Prefectural Road 234, turn right at this sign. Immediately after entering from the prefectural road, turn left at this junction. Then, follow the signs and carefully continue on the forest road. In a several minutes, arrived at the Hiura Azalea Garden. Let’s go up. The azaleas and green leaves are sparklingly beautiful. The azaleas in Hiura are naturally native and are said to be over 200 years old. Approximately 150 trees. It is rare to see such a cluster of natural azaleas. Let’s go to the teahouse. At the end of the Edo period (1603-1867), the teahouse in Hiura was crowded with worshippers to the Kinzan Syussekiji Temple. In the teahouse, tea and other hospitality was offered to travelers. Turn around and admire the azaleas some more. Leave the Hiura Azalea Garden. On the way back, do not make a U-turn, but continue in the direction of travel. In a few minutes, we can return to Prefectural Road 234 from a narrow road among private houses. Arrive at the “Yawatahama Sports Park” Adventure Zone. There is a large azalea garden here. Let’s go up. The surrounding mountains are also beautiful. 5,000 azaleas are in full bloom. Above, a large open space with playground equipment designed to resemble airplanes. View from above. At the rest area, a scarecrow of Otani and Decoy. Let’s explore some more. A bee is crazy about flowers. Leave the Yawatahama Sports Park. Thank you for watching. こんにちは、Life in Shikoku です。愛媛県の松山市や南予地方に、牡丹やツツジを見に行きました。まず、松山市別府町の牡丹寺「浄明院」へ。境内には、約1,000株の牡丹があるそうです。その他にも、様々な花木が植えられた花の寺。花と緑に癒される時間を過ごせました。
次に、大洲市平野町の「日浦つつじ園」へ。場所がわかりにくいので、県道234号からの入り口を地図で表示しました。天然のツツジが群生する、神秘的な風景は、まさに穴場のツツジスポットです。
最後に、八幡浜市の、「八幡浜市民スポーツパーク」 冒険ゾーンへ。広大な敷地に、５千株のツツジが咲き誇る名所です。周囲の山並みに、色とりどりのツツジが映えます。この風景を、一緒に楽しんで頂けたら嬉しいです。
Hello, we are Life in Shikoku. We went to see peonies and azaleas in Matsuyama City and the Nanyo region of Ehime Prefecture. First, we visited “Jyomyoin Temple”, a peony temple in Beppu-cho, Matsuyama City. There are approximately 1,000 peony plants in the precincts of the temple. The temple is also filled with a variety of other flowers and trees. We spent a relaxing time with flowers and greenery.
Next, to “Hiura Azalea Garden” in Hirano-cho, Ozu City. The location is difficult to find, so we put the map shows the entrance from Prefectural Road 234. The mysterious scenery of natural azaleas growing in clusters makes this a little-known but good azalea spot.
Finally, visit the Adventure Zone of “Yawatahama Sports Park” in Yawatahama City. This vast place is famous for its 5,000 azalea plants in full bloom. The colorful azaleas are reflected in the surrounding mountains. We would be happy if you could enjoy this scenery with us.
