桜と電車のフォトスポットとしても人気のある新境川堤。
この場所も以前から気になっていて、人足も落ち着いた頃少し散り始めの桜を撮りに出かけて来ました。
地元出身の歌舞伎役者・市川百十郎の想いが咲き誇る「百十郎桜」。
新境川の両岸約４kmに渡る1000本を超える桜並木は、現在に至るまで多くの人々に親しまれています。

The banks of the Shinsakai River are a popular photo spot for cherry blossoms and trains.
I’d always been interested in this place, so when the foot traffic had died down I went out to photograph the cherry blossoms that had just started to fall.
The “Hyakujuro Sakura” is in full bloom, representing the thoughts of Ichikawa Hyakujuro, a local kabuki actor.
The row of over 1,000 cherry trees stretches for about 4km on both sides of the Shinsakai River, and is beloved by many people to this day.
