ボナビスタの復活は感動的だ

What’s happening in Bonav Vista now? Why am I so optimistic about the place? Well, you can see all kinds of small businesses around town. Some are seasonal and geared toward tourism, which is great, but there are lots that operate year round. Even a few of the restaurants are able to stay open in the months that don’t see a lot of tourists. I’m not sure that people in this town thought that would be possible even just like 10 or 15 years ago. It’s not a perfect town by any means. Many businesses are giving it a go, but they don’t all survive. But the fact that businesses continue to come in and continue to give it a go with many of them doing well is fuel for others to believe in the town and invest in the town. And young families move back to town and are living good, safe, comfortable lives.

Bonavista is a town in Newfoundland and Labrador. Like many towns here, it has gone through some very tough times but it is a thriving community today
