AQUA DOME | Futuristic Spa Hotel in the Alps (tour in 4K)

Join me a full tour of Aqua Dome, arguably the most iconic thermal spa hotel in Austria, if not the entire Alps. With its floating basins and cone-shaped structure, the eye-catching Aqua Dome Hotel & Spa is both futuristic and fantastical. A combination of luxurious spa facilities and beautiful alpine landscape makes Aqua Dome a great place for a romantic break or a family holiday.

As Austria’s largest tourist project to date, Aqua Dome is located in the beautiful Ötztal Valley, surrounded by the Tyrolean Alps and close to tiny Austrian town of Längenfeld. Here, in 1997, a borehole tapped thermal water from a depth of 1,865 m (6,118 ft) for the first time. A subsequent investment of more than 70 million euros put Längenfeld and the whole of Austrian Tyrol on the map of thermal spa tourism in one go. What followed is a success story that continues to this day. Aqua Dome has welcomed almost seven million guests in the two decades since opening.

  1. Great video, as usual. Watched the entire vid and must say that this place has all ambience of a high-end rehab center. My wife and I couldn't find a single thing about this place that appealed to us, except the location. But I'm sure this place has its fans.

  2. I saw this spa in an IG photo in December 2017 and didn't believe this place was real. I decided to find out, so I booked a trip in early 2018, and it started my love of travelling to Europe. I went back three more times that year. There are tons of spas in Austria / Germany / Italy, but this one is my favorite. If you love 5-star food, world-class spas, and great nearby attractions such as the James Bond experience on top of the Gaislachkogl, the Aqua Dome is for you. Not easy to get to from the US (it takes me about 20 hours, door-to-door), but well-worth it. I just made reservations for my ninth or tenth visit to the Aqua Dome and I couldn't be happier. I've even made friends with a few of the staff over the year (they're inquisitive because they don't get many American visitors). I feel like home when I'm there. I even made a compilation video of my trips a few years ago: https://youtu.be/Ckir76O0TZc?si=gWs86fWZZGapAxKC

  3. it is a good facility but it definitely not luxurious. solid 3,5 starts out of 5, but their price tag aims at 5-stars )) If you are not fan of clothes-free areas there is very little you can do there: bathe in couple of pools and lay on a sun-bed

  4. Really nice. The fact that you film in the early hours makes the experience of watching even more relaxing (no crowds).

  5. nice but the music is too loud vs the environmental sounds. want to listen to the environment first so the music should be softer.

  6. This hotel room is the strangest room you've ever showed us. They only gave you one apple, one chocolate and one pillow. That seems extremely mean especially as I'm sure it was an expensive room❤

  7. The blend of modern design with that stunning alpine backdrop is just breathtaking; adding this to my list!
