A Secret Spring Getaway in Tokyo | Weeping Sakura & an Ancient House in the Sky

I visited Hinohara Village in search of peaceful spring scenery that you wouldn’t expect to find in Tokyo.
From a quiet bus stop in Hembori where a weeping cherry tree sways gently in the breeze,
to Hossawa Falls—a waterfall full of negative ions—and the “ancient house in the sky” reached by monorail,
this was a day trip full of nature and healing.

Along the way, I also stopped by some charming local spots,
including Café Seseragi and Yamabukiya, each filled with the warmth of this beautiful village.
