⁴ᴷ Saitama: Urawa Station (埼玉県: 浦和駅) – Japan Walking Tour (April, 2025)

I had originally planned a trip to a more distant location, but this time I decided to revisit cities in the Tokyo metropolitan area. So for this month, I’ll be exploring places around the capital region.

This week, I visited Saitama City in Saitama Prefecture and took a walk around Urawa Station after exploring Minami-Urawa Station.

While Ōmiya Station is known for its bustling shopping and entertainment districts, the area around Urawa Station is home to many government buildings, including the prefectural office. It’s interesting how each area plays a distinct role within the city.

That said, although it’s not on the same scale as Ōmiya, Urawa also has its own nightlife district, with bars and shops mixed together. I even spotted a few girls, likely from girls’ bars, standing at the edge of the street.
