【香川県宇多津町】取り壊しから一転！西田敏行さんが運命を変えた奇跡の劇場「脇町劇場オデオン座」と、ノスタルジックな町並み残る「うだつの町並み」を散策！
外国人観光客から沸々と人気急上昇中の香川県宇多津町。今回は伝統的な日本家屋が多く残るうだつの町並みと、当初取り壊しが決まっていましたが、西田敏行さん主演映画の舞台となり一躍脚光を浴び、文化財として今でも保護されている奇跡の芝居小屋、脇町劇場オデオン座を訪問してきました。
Utazu Town in Kagawa Prefecture is rapidly gaining popularity among foreign tourists. This time, we visited the Udatsu streetscape, where many traditional Japanese houses remain, and the Wakimachi Odeon Theater, a miraculous playhouse that was initially scheduled for demolition but was suddenly thrown into the limelight when it was used as the setting for a movie starring Nishida Toshiyuki, and is still protected as a cultural asset.
