Walking Around Himeji Castle in Full Bloom 2025 [4K/HDR/Binaural]
In early April, Himeji Castle is surrounded by cherry blossoms in full bloom, and the whole area comes alive with visitors. But most people just visit the castle itself and miss everything around it. So today, I want to take you on one of my favorite walking routes that circles all the way around the castle. The north side of Himeji Castle, in particular, is a hidden gem for cherry blossoms—known mostly only to locals like me. By the time this video goes up, the blossoms might already be gone. But if you’re planning a trip to Himeji during next year’s cherry blossom season, I hope you’ll take your time and enjoy a peaceful stroll through this beautiful area.

Enjoyed your video. My wife and I attended the re-opening about a decade ago. Having experienced over 20 cherry blossom festivals, we now prefer less crowded, but equally spectacular locations like Matuse and Marouka Castles (both original), which we recently visited.
What a tour de force showing us the popular sites as well the "hidden" gems of the castle town to view the blossoms. 19:44 beautiful view. 24:39 not many visitors here. 34:13 truly beautiful sight. 47:20 an exceptionally good shot you took here. Thanks for showing us Himeji and other places of Japan ,rather than only Tokyo and Kanto !
Japan is so big ,it has so many places ,either small beautiful, peaceful villages or big cities like Fukuoka etc
Most foreigners know only Tokyo and Osaka and Kyoto but there are so many others cities in Japan!
Also so many small places of amazing natural beauty ,rich in history too!

I really liked this video. The White Heron Castle is truly a national gem of Japan. Yesterday I was just playing Assassin's Creed Shadows and went through this part – Himeji Castle.) I hope to come someday and also enjoy the walk. Have a nice trip and care!
