Ah coooool! I stayed there September 2024. Very nice staff, very cool dated Showa era hotel. You can spend hours just walking around finding hidden rooms. Lots of it feels like a fever dream. Not one to be missed!

Hida beef, one of the best meats i've ever tried. Probably the best one.
Gero Onsen is about in the middle on Takayama – Nagoya line (one of the best train lines in the World!), so if you have time, visit it.
