■丹波篠山市
丹波篠山市（たんばささやまし）は、兵庫県の中東部に位置する市。

旧丹波国として古来京都への交通の要として栄えてきた歴史があり、町並みや祭りなどに京文化の影響を色濃く残している。盆地型の地形であるが、昭和後期から平成にかけ、市内西部を縦貫するJR福知山線（宝塚線）の複線電化、舞鶴若狭自動車道（開通時は「舞鶴自動車道」）の開通により、大阪や阪神間へのアクセスは以前よりも改善した。宝塚・伊丹へは片道40〜50分、大阪へは70分程度となっている。

経済的には、県庁所在地の神戸市よりも、舞鶴や福知山をはじめとする北近畿経済圏、さらには大阪経済圏とのつながりが強い

丹波篠山市には、篠山城跡や武家屋敷、歴史美術館、陶芸館など、さまざまな観光スポットがあります。
