I’ve never traveled without travel insurance because I know if I don’t have it something is going to happen. Only ever claimed once and they paid out quickly. Thanks Alex, it’s a case of being safe not sorry.

Great advice Alex. We pay annual travel insurance, it works out very reasonable over several holidays.
Had one major claim a few years ago when I was hospitalised in New York. The bill was massive, but my insurance covered the whole episode including rearranged flights and hotels etc . Some people will do anything to extend their holiday 😂
I always travel with my insurance Alex. It's either that,or a passport. Lol.
Very useful update Alex. Travel insurance is essential. I take out an annual subscription as I have multiple trips to Mallorca and also within the UK. Also when travelling I have in my hand luggage spare underwear, socks and a tee shirt in case of delays or lost luggage. Beat wishes, John
I have just been to mallorca and flew through customs both in and out no problem in about1 minutes.

We're avid mallorca visitors,love the place But think the prices of jet2 this year are ridiculously high, we've always travelled with jet2 amd we've always afforded it but this year I just can't see it happening sadly, cheapest for us 3 on jet2 app straight away 3k for 5nights just can't justify paying it

I've always enjoyed your videos, however having watched this one I have to question whether you are receiving donations from travel the travel insurance industry. Yes travel insurance can be valuable but my personal experience of travel insurance companies is only bad. When I was suddenly taken ill on Majorca some years ago I had to get the hotel to call for a doctor who got an ambulance to take me to hospital where I stayed for 24 hours. When I contacted my travel insurance company they simply said that I should have gone to the general hospital and refused to pay out. I've heard many similar stories from other travellers.
We have annual insurance that covers our breaks in the UK as well as abroad. It always amazes me to read about the things that happen to people….oh & they have no insurance. Thanks Alex.
