The Magical Winter of Ginzan Onsen | A Snowy Journey Through the Taisho Era
Welcome to my winter journey to Ginzan Onsen, one of the most iconic hot spring towns in Yamagata Prefecture!
Starting from Omiya Station, I took the Shinkansen Tsubasa No. 121 to Oishida Station, enjoying breathtaking snowy views along the way. Upon arrival, I continued my journey with a 40-minute bus ride to reach the enchanting Ginzan Onsen.
Surrounded by heavy snowfall, the Taisho-era wooden buildings stand beautifully, creating a fairytale-like atmosphere. The warm river flowing through the town remains unfrozen, adding to the picturesque scenery.
Join me as I explore the town’s magical sights, discover a hidden cave, visit charming souvenir shops, and experience the unforgettable charm of Ginzan Onsen in winter. Despite the chilly weather, every moment here feels like a scene from a winter wonderland!
