At that moment, a maiko dressed in a colorful kimono suddenly appeared in front of them. With a beautiful hairpin inserted into her white-painted face, she walked down the street with an elegant gait. The tourist couldn’t help but widen his eyes and was moved by the dreamlike sight. “She’s a real maiko!” he exclaimed excitedly, quietly following her with his eyes.
The maiko smiled softly and continued to walk gracefully. Although overwhelmed by the sight, the tourists quietly took out their cameras to capture the beauty of the moment. It was like a scene from a movie, and the tourists were filled with joy and felt truly “super happy!”

祇園街を歩いていて、何時も思うのですが、アジア系特にK.C国の人は芸舞妓さんとすれ違って無関心のようで、欧米人は感嘆の声を挙げたりカメラを向けたりしてるけど、祇園で芸舞妓さんに興味なければ何しに此の街を観光しているのか⁉️😖

最近は警備員さんの配置箇所が増えてますね。
ただでさえ人・自転車・バイク・車両が行き交う界隈ですから、
何かが起きてからでは遅いワケですし…この光景は致し方なし。
気になるのは…地元選出と思われる「政治家」のポスターです。
大変失礼ながら「無粋」と感じてしまうのは私だけでしょうか。
皆さんの歩く姿、ポケットに手を入れて、前かがみで歩いているが、さっそうと背筋を伸ばして歩いている外国人の少ないこと！
