Photographed on May 22, 2023 Located in Shiwa Town, Iwate Prefecture. This castle was the residence of the Shiba clan, known as the Kanrei family of the Muromachi Shogunate along with the Hosokawa and Hatakeyama clans. The Shiba clan was destroyed after being attacked by the Sannohe Nanbu clan.
