*DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza) * is a complex cultural facility located at Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station (Subway Lines 2, 4, and 5).
Since its opening in 2014, it has hosted a variety of cultural events, including exhibitions, fashion shows, new product launches, forums, experience/educational opportunities, and conferences.
Dongdaemun is a district with many wholesale stores and fashion buildings. It is bustling from late at night to the early hours of the morning.

*”Shinsegae Square”*is a space with a large media facade installed on the exterior wall of the main Shinsegae Department Store in Myeongdong, Seoul.
“Shinsegae Square”, which Shinsegae Department Store introduced, attracts the attention of tourists, drawing attention by taking not only fancy appearances but also eco-friendly elements.

The existing media facade was operated only at the end of the year by assembling steel frames. I had to replace it with a new frame about every three years.
The newly installed media facade can be operated without replacement for 10 years, drastically reducing waste. It is open all the time outside the end of the year.

It also sought to save energy by significantly increasing power efficiency. This year, Shinsegae Square is 1,292.3㎡ in size, about 13% larger than last year’s (1,134㎡).
Instead, efficient power design can save up to 35% energy compared to the same area.

Samsung Electronics, which developed Shinsegae Square together, said, “We have optimized the power relationship between power, LED semiconductor (IC), and LED parts so that power can be implemented most efficiently even in the same area and brightness.” It also applied an open design that can reduce power use by minimizing heat generation without cooling fans.
Natural cooling is possible, reducing unnecessary waste, such as reducing cooling costs.

While increasing energy efficiency, the quality of images transmitted through media facades has increased. It minimizes the “flicker phenomenon” in which minute blinking occurs in the video so that content can be enjoyed vividly and clearly.
By applying 3D anamorphic techniques, the three-dimensional and realistic senses have also been advanced. Unlike previous years, when related videos were transmitted only during the Christmas season, as it is an intensive technology, K-culture videos and media artwork are always presented.

*DDP（東大門デザインプラザ）*は、東大門歴史文化公園駅（地下鉄2、4、5号線）に位置する複合文化施設で、2014年に開館して以来、各種展示会、ファッションショー、新製品の発表会、
フォーラム、体験・教育、会議など様々な文化行事が行われている。
東大門は卸売店やファッションビルが立ち並び、深夜から早朝まで賑わう街である。

*新世界スクエア*は、ソウル明洞にある新世界百貨店本店の外壁に大型メディアファサードが設置された空間である。
新世界百貨店が導入した「新世界スクエア」は、派手な外観だけでなく、環境に優しい要素も取り入れて注目を集め、観光客の注目を集めている。

既存のメディアファサードは、鉄骨を組み立てて年末のみ運営していた。約3年ごとに新しいフレームに交換しなければならなかったが、新たに設置されたメディアファサードは、10年間交換なしで運営できるため、廃棄物を大幅に削減できる。年末以外も常時運営する。

電力効率も大幅に高め、省エネ効果も図った。 新世界スクエアは1292.3平方メートルの大きさで、前年度（1134平方メートル）より約13%大きくなった。
効率的な電力設計で同一面積対比最大35%のエネルギーを節約できる。

新世界スクエアを共同開発したサムスン電子は「同じ面積と明るさでも電力が最も効率的に実現できるよう、電源とLED半導体（IC）、LED部品間の電力関係を最適化した」と明らかにした。
また、冷却ファンなしでも発熱を最小限に抑えて電力使用量を減らすことができる開放型設計を適用した。自然冷却が可能で、冷却コストの削減など、無駄な浪費を減らすことができる。

エネルギー効率を高めながら、メディアファサードを通じて伝送される映像のクオリティも向上した。映像に微細な点滅が発生する「フリッカー現象」を最小限に抑え、コンテンツを鮮明かつ鮮明に楽しめるようにした。3Dアナモルフィック技術を適用し、立体感とリアル感も向上した。クリスマスシーズンのみ関連映像を伝送していた過去とは異なり、集中的な技術であるだけに、Kカルチャー映像やメディアアート作品が常時披露される。
