This time I visited Tashiro Island (Tashirojima), known as one of the most famous cat islands in Japan. Tashiro Island is a small island located in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, about 40 minutes by ferry from the Port of Ishinomaki. On this island, hundreds of cats live in harmony with the islanders, and cats are very much cherished as the guardian gods of great catches.
It is truly a paradise for cat lovers. I enjoyed a healing moment spent with the cats in a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

    Love Tashirojima ❤️ I've visited twice so far but stayed in Ishinomaki rather than on the island itself. It seems busier in your video than when I visited, so maybe it's getting more popular.

    Ishinomaki is also nice to see the manga museum. If you stay in Ishinomaki, I recommend Kikuchi Ryokan. No animals though 🙁

    A very calming place to visit. I'm surprised that there are intact males and they are allowed to breed. I had a little girl called Pudding who looks a little like mike-chan. Sadly I had to have her put to sleep four weeks ago because she had a tumor in her intestines. Her picture is my profile picture. I also have a girl called Mavis who looks like the fluffy kitten who was with mike-chan. And her brother is black and fluffy. I have Pudding brother called Eric who is ginger and white. I was thinking about this channel last night coincidentally. My fiance showed me a video of a cafe i think in Japan that had prairie dogs, chinchillas, a fenik fox and a raccoon 🦝. I said if we win the lottery can our first holiday be touring all places like this. It would be my dream 😻🥰. Thank you for another very enjoyable video 😊
