  1. Hiya! One of my best friends is Vietnamese, and fun thing is that when I got to know him, he didn’t know Dutch, didn’t know how to ride a bike and didn’t know how to swim. Now we’re speaking Dutch, bike towards the swimming pool and have a swim. The mentality of the Vietnamese in terms of being eager to learn local things is above and beyond. Everything is better with coconut. And I share your love for sticky rice, either mango or banana. The Cu Chi tunnels are very long and narrow! Not for the people with claustrophobia. Street food is a real thing in Asia and Latin America, whereas it’s not so common in the Western world. Vietnam is high on my bucket list and mostly because of the people. They seem so friendly and honest! I like to be out of the big city, enjoying the nature. Glad you’re covering that part as well. The pandas coconut creamy thingy looks so delicious. Thanks for sharing your Vietnamese experience and have a great week ahead 🤙

  2. Wow, Phoebe. Almost at 200k! It doesn’t seem too long ago that you broke 100k. And look at you now. Look at the incredible confidence, the beautiful images and the great places you’ve taken us to. Not many people get to live their dream. We know it did come at some cost and it seems like it was worth it. You are so happy and so full of life. Celebrate this new milestone and we can’t wait to join you on to the next one! (250k is just around the corner.)

Really enjoying this SE Asia series. Everything I like about your channel—full of beautiful locations and excellent travel suggestions. Love how you and Mr E are crafting such an excellent vlog!

PS: if you’re in QL, stay safe—been seeing the bad flooding in NE QL of late (and of course Alfred!)

  3. i am 5'11 and weight 185lb, and i crawled like 100ft i the tunnel, and i almost died. if you are similar or bigger build, do NOT go into the tunnel!! with that said, Gucci tunnel is a fun tour, and i even got to shoot a massive giant machine gun featured in Rambo.

  4. Saigon tip 2: the best and cheapest drink in most resturant are 1. ice tea (0 to $0.3) 2. local beer (under $1). no need to buy fancy stuffs, they are usually much worse. tip 3: take the 2 day mekong delta tour instead of 1 day

  5. Your vlog takes me right back to my memories of Japan! I also filmed my trip, and I realized just how inspiring this country is for video creators 😍

  6. So fun,I’m getting more excited watching your amazing video. Can’t wait to get there. Where can I book those yellow shirt motorcycles guide pls, so I can use your link? Thanks!

  7. Vietnam is a county with long history, rich culture and heritage and Ho Chi Minh city is such a vibrant city, a perfect mixed of the old and new sculpture. Great vlog, as always. 🥰

  8. Welcome back. I just watched your video about Hoi An the other day. Enjoy Vietnam!

  9. Hey Phoebe, not all Michelin-rated restaurants are best taste. It's more to individual preference than "Michelin food experts". Locals in Saigon won't patron to half of restaurants guided by tour guides.

  10. Your video presentations are informatively educational end also entertaining .Keep up the god work .

  11. Vietnam and the food could be more enjoyable if the people didn’t throw garbage everywhere and the vendors practiced hygiene. The people litter indiscriminately for generations. Sad.

  12. Video khám phá Vietnam của bạn rất tuyệt vời ! Chúc bạn sớm đạt nút vàng tại đây !
