FINLAND TRAVEL DOCUMENTARY | Unforgettable Road Trip in Finlands South

Join an epic Road Trip to Finland and its majestic southern regions. A Road Trip to endless small forest roads and lakes, beautiful islands off the beaten path, wide open beaches on the sea, small fishing villages, heartwarming hospitable locals and one of the most vibrant and interesting capital cities in Europe – Helsinki. Welcome to Finalnd. Welcome to one of my favorite countries in Europe.

The forests called us, and we went. And on the way we found lakes so big, that you can drive a boat on them for hours. We found a way of simple living close to nature, relying on what your surrounding provides. We found a place, where time sometimes seems to stand still and where the wild and civilized don’t compete but embrace each other.

  1. Aww wow that was awesome.. Glad to have the adventures again.. Finland does look amazing and i love the narrow tracks and forest.. The Iveco is so beautiful.. Look forward to the next adventure 😁😁

  2. It was a great video, thank you. If you're interested in seeing more of Finland, the "Jammy Gits" duo did a great TET tour through Finland.

  3. Welcome back, Lea! This was such a lovely episode. Thank you for taking us along, and I look forward to Estonia! ❤

  4. At my summerhouse in Sweden I have both berries. The one who is white inside is in Swedish Odon and the other one is Blåbär.

  5. It is so good to see you are back with the whole family. I have never been on your side of the pond but because of you and others on YouTube I have fallen in love with all the Nordic countries. I had to laugh at your little talk about Blue Berry's. I was raised in Montana in the US and the wild berry's in the mountains are called Huckle berry's. They look a lot like the wild berry's you showed in the video. They are a lighter blue then the Finish ones but they have a very distinct taste and they are highly sought after. They sell for very high prices per pound.

  6. So nice to see you back, along with your new family. You absolutely nailed the beauty and spirit of this beautiful country. Your relaxed narrative has an interesting and inviting nature.

  7. The berry that is white inside, is so called "American blueberry", or "bush blueberry" (Vaccinium corymbosum) that is cultivated in big farms. The smaller one is the wild mustikka, blåbär, blueberry.

  8. Despite often being called blueberries, the berry you can find in Finnish forests is actually called a "bilberry" (mustikka in Finnish), while the ones bought from stores are blueberries (pensasmustikka in Finnish). So yeah, it's a different species. Bilberries are way superior in my humble opinion. 🙂

  12. Welcome back. As someone who literally lives at the other side of the planet i am so envious of you and the trips you do. Have fun and be safe. Looking forward to the video on your new camper.

  13. Great content, thanks for sharing! A bit off-topic, but I want to ask: My bybit wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (host hair point assault nominee walk plate focus idea analyst metal liberty). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?

  14. The big berry is a blueberry. Blueberries are a bush. Bilberry is the small one, grows in shrubs. This causes a lot of confusion since a lot of countries call bilberries as blueberries. Finland is one of those countries, in native language is is called blueberry so that is how we translate it too. Bilberries are very difficult plant to grow commercially, they require the exact kind of conditions found in forests: shielded by trees, the exact moisture, the surrounding slow growing moss is part of its lifecycle. Blueberry bushes can be grown in fields and machines can be used. Bilberries can only be picked by hand. They have tried to grow bilberries since forever but.. it just does not work, the ecosystem that it requires around is WAY too complicated to be replicated.

  15. Wellcome back and what a wonderful video of my home country. Please come back to finland sometime and little more to north where I live. U can borrow my bike if You like to ride these small gravel roads. And I would be happy to show you some local places . Your videos are very good. 👍

  16. Excellent documentary, as always. After watching your East Coast series 2 years ago I had to ride some of West Virginia and it did not disappoint – especially Thurmond. 👍
