① Obora River Suspension Bridge
🏞️Suspension bridge over Lake Chichibu, about a 15-minute drive from Mitsumine Shrine.
There was a small sign that said “Entrance to the Suspension Bridge,” and from there we walked along the mountain path for about 5 minutes. There were some slippery spots, so if you plan to go here, please be careful!
The view from the suspension bridge was very beautiful and magnificent, but as expected, the shaking got stronger as we crossed, and it was a little scary.
Even if you stop by, a quick stop seems like enough. But as an experience, it was memorable and interesting!
② Handmade Soba Mizusawa
🍴A popular restaurant serving fragrant handmade soba made with traditional stone milling.
Using buckwheat flour milled from whole buckwheat, they offer handmade soba that is “freshly ground, freshly made, and freshly boiled.”
Not only was the soba delicious, but the relaxed atmosphere made it a comfortable place to spend time. It’s also great that they have a large parking lot!
③ Ranzan Valley
On the way back to Tokyo, we stopped by Ranzan Valley.
🏞️ This valley is beautiful with the murmuring of the Tsukikawa River, and is one of Saitama Prefecture’s most famous scenic spots.
There is a promenade along the river, so we were able to enjoy a leisurely stroll.
Because it is a local spot, we hardly saw anyone. The most popular season seems to be the autumn foliage season, and the barbecue areas are apparently crowded on weekends.

①大洞川吊り橋(おおぼらがわつりばし)
たまたまgoogle mapで見つけた大洞川吊り橋に行ってみました。
🏞️三峯神社から車で１５分ほどのところにある、秩父湖にかかる吊り橋で、どう見てスリル満点な雰囲気でした。
「つり橋入口」という小さな看板があり、そこから山道を５分ほど進んでいきます。滑りやすい箇所もあったため、十分注意して歩くようにしました。
吊り橋から見える景色はとても美しく壮大でしたが、案の定渡っていくにつれて揺れが大きくなり、少し怖かったです。
立ち寄るとしても、ちらっと寄る程度で十分そうです。だけど、体験としては、印象深く面白かったです！一緒に行った仲間たちとも、一番盛り上がった場所かもしれません。
②手打ちそば 水沢
🍴昔ながらの石臼挽きの香り高い手打そばで人気なお店。
玄そばから製粉したそば粉を使い、「挽きたて、打ちたて、茹でたて」の三たてにこだわった手打ちそばを提供している。
お蕎麦がとっても美味しかったのはもちろんのこと、落ち着いた雰囲気で、心地よく過ごすことができました。
駐車場が広いのもありがたい！
③嵐山渓谷（らんざんけいこく）
東京方面に車で戻りながら立ち寄ったのが、嵐山渓谷。
🏞️槻川（つきかわ）のせせらぎが美しい渓谷で、埼玉県を代表する景勝地の一つ。
川沿いに遊歩道が整備されていて、ゆったりとした散策を楽しむことができました。
ローカルなスポットなので、ほとんど人に会うこともありませんでした。秋の紅葉シーズンが一番人気なようで、バーベキュー場なども土日は賑わうとのことです。
派手さはありませんが、静かに自然を楽しむには丁度良い場所だと思います。
