アメリカ・ルイジアナ州のローカルフード、「ケイジャン料理専門店」のゲーターズは、 2016年に広島の宮島口にオープン。昨年、岩国へ移転して来ました。
昼も夜も、アメリカ南部の地元飯を求めて、米軍基地関係者や地元の方々が通います。
マスターのライアンさんは、日系5世のアメリカ人。高校卒業後に来日し、以来日本で20年奮闘されています。

A restaurant that is very popular among the people of the Iwakuni U.S. military base for its “taste of home”. Gator’s, a restaurant specializing in “Cajun food,” local food from Louisiana, U.S.A. It opened in Miyajima-guchi, Hiroshima in 2016. Last year, it relocated to Iwakuni. Both day and night, the restaurant is frequented by local residents and personnel from the U.S. military base for local food from the southern part of the U.S. The master, Ryan, is a fifth-generation Japanese-American. He came to Japan after graduating from high school and has been struggling in Japan for 20 years. Cajun cuisine is a mix of French, Spanish, African, and American cultures. The restaurant was bright, lively, and full of excitement with the diverse cultures and spice-filled dishes. We hope you will enjoy it.
