Hatanodai Station is a Tokyu Corporation station located in Hatanodai 2-chome, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.
1. train lines and location
Lines: The Tokyu Oimachi Line and Tokyu Ikegami Line serve the station.
Both lines intersect at this station, making mutual transfers possible.
Location: 2-chome, Hatanodai, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.
While the surrounding area is residential, there are shopping streets and facilities such as Showa University Hospital, making it a convenient area to live.
2. history
Originally, they existed as separate stations.
Higashi-Senzoku Station” on the Oimachi Line and ‘Hatagaoka Station’ on the Ikegami Line were located separately, but were later integrated into the current ”Hatanodai Station. The integration took place on May 1, 1945, when the Ikegami Line station facilities were moved to the present location.
The name of the station is said to come from the nearby Hataoka Hachiman Shrine.
This shrine is said to have been called “Hata-no-Dai” or “Hataoka” since Minamoto no Yorinobu prayed for victory in the Heian period (794-1185) and placed a flag at the shrine.
3. surrounding environment
Facilities: Showa University Hospital is located near the station, providing good access to medical care.
The area is also conveniently located with a shopping street, supermarket, and restaurants in Hatanodai.
Places of interest: The aforementioned Hataoka Hachiman Shrine is within walking distance, and is a historical spot for visitors.
Livability: The area is rated as a comfortable place to live in Shinagawa Ward, with calm residential areas and good access to the city center (Oimachi Station is about 5 minutes away and Gotanda Station about 10 minutes away).
旗の台駅（はたのだいえき）は、東京都品川区旗の台二丁目にある東急電鉄の駅です。
1. 路線と位置
路線: 東急大井町線と東急池上線の2路線が乗り入れています。
両線は当駅で交差しており、相互の乗り換えが可能です。
所在地: 東京都品川区旗の台二丁目。
周辺は住宅地が広がりつつも、商店街や昭和大学病院などの施設があり、生活に便利なエリアです。
2. 歴史
元々は別々の駅として存在していました。
大井町線の「東洗足駅」と池上線の「旗ヶ岡駅」がそれぞれ別の場所にありましたが、後に統合され現在の「旗の台駅」に。統合は1945年5月1日で、池上線の駅設備が現在地に移設されました。
駅名の由来は、近くにある「旗岡八幡神社」にちなむとされています。
この神社は平安時代に源頼信が戦勝祈願を行い、旗を立てたことから「旗の台」や「旗岡」と呼ばれるようになったと言われています。
3. 周辺環境
施設: 駅近くに昭和大学病院があり、医療アクセスが良いです。
また、旗の台商店街やスーパー、飲食店も充実しており、生活利便性が高いエリアです。
名所: 前述の旗岡八幡神社が徒歩圏内にあり、歴史的なスポットとして訪れる人もいます。
住みやすさ: 品川区内で落ち着いた住宅街が広がり、都心へのアクセスも良い（大井町駅まで約5分、五反田駅まで約10分）ため、住みやすいと評価されています。
