InterContinental Berlin – Junior Suite
Room tour of a Junior Suite of the InterContinental Hotel Berlin along with Club Lounge, Loby and pool.
The hotel is located two bus stops /(bus #from200 to Budap
oester Straße) Berlin Zooligscher Garten Station.
The lobby of the InterContinental Berlin is quite large and the hotel has a the well know restaurant / bar Marlene and Hugo as well as a number of meeting and boardrooms. It is one of the major hotel for conference and it offers a Presidential Suite with bullet proof windows. By the way, the tower is the former Hilton Berlin (from 1958 to 1978).,
The InterContinental offers a large pool and a small fitness center.
The junior suite consists of a living room, bed room and bathroom. Unfortunately there are a only a limited number of USB charging outlets available at desk and bedside tables.
The design ist not the most modern but in a certain way subtle elegant and timeless. The room was clean and had only a little bit of wear.
A club lounge is available for either guests booking Club Rooms, holding a lounge pass with the IHG One Rewards programm or being Royal Ambassador Members. Breakfast is available in the lounge. Afternoon tea is served from 14:00 to 17:00. An an evening reception is available between 18:00 and 20:00. Two hot dishes are served by staff in addition to a small selection on the buffet. Quality is high. Service is attentive and friendy. Alcholic beverage is availkable (two red wine, two white wines, a sparkling wine and Hatton Champagne).
The hotel could be busy and sometimes it does not offer access to the lounge to lounge pass holders given the small size of the lounge.
