【4K】Takata Castle (Iwate) / 高田城 (岩手)
Walk-through movie of Takata castle (高田城) that is a Japanese castle in Iwate pref. Located at backward of former central area of Takata town, it stands at peninsular like castle hill. It was built as home castle of local lord Hamada clan, and later they moved to Yonegasaki castle but kept as branch castle. After fall of Hamada clan and its master Kasai clan it might be reformed by Toyotomi government but was not used by Date clan and abolished. Backward area disappeared by construction but front side terraces still remain.
