Many oysters are suspended and cultivated under rafts floating in the sea.
The bridge you can see in front of you is the Bizen♡Hinase Ohashi Bridge that I introduced earlier. It connects Honshu and Kakui Island.
To the south of Kakuijima Island lies Kashirajima Island, connected to the Kashirajima Bridge.
Kashirajima is an island in the Hinase Islands, located in the Seto Inland Sea and belonging to Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture. With a population of approximately 400 people, it is the most populous island in the Hinase Islands.
There are many guesthouses and pensions on Kashira Island, where you can enjoy fresh seafood dishes throughout the year.
Kashirajima Island is also home to the Kashirajima Oyster Processing Plant.
The high-quality, mild-tasting oysters cultivated in the beautiful natural environment of the Hinase Islands National Park are highly praised by oyster lovers around the world.
JAPANl Oysters-1 Grand Prix has been held at the Tokyo Toyosu Market since 2024, and Hinase’s oysters were crowned the first champion.
The small island, which is approximately 4km in circumference, has a beach, a ground golf course, and an observation deck, and is known as a tourist spot where you can enjoy fishing and mandarin orange picking.

    前方に見える橋は以前に紹介させていただいた備前♡日生大橋です。本州と鹿久居島（かくいじま）を繋いでいます。
    その鹿久居島の南には頭島大橋で繋がった頭島（かしらじま）があります。
    頭島（かしらじま）は、瀬戸内海に浮かぶ岡山県備前市に属する日生諸島の島です。人口約400人と日生諸島では最も人口が多い島です。
    頭島（かしらじま）には多数の民宿・ペンションがあり、１年を通して新鮮な魚介料理を味わうことができます。
    頭島には頭島牡蠣処理場があります。
    国立公園日生諸島の恵まれた自然環境の中で養殖されたマイルドな味わいの高品質の牡蠣は世界中の牡蠣愛好家から高い評価を得ています。
    2024年から東京豊洲市場において全国牡蠣-1グランプリが開催されていて、ひなせの牡蠣は見事初代チャンピオンに輝いたそうです。
    周囲約4kmの小さな島には、海水浴場やグラウンドゴルフ場、展望台などが整備され、釣りやみかん狩りなども楽しめる観光スポットとして知られています。

    Cool learning about the Oysters on these rafts. A lovely flight over this beautiful island. You must be able to get a good view of the Oyster rafts from the bridge as well I guess.
