6:26 To put it simply, the authority is processing the elevated railroads construction for the conventional line run by the unpopular State-run Bento Bistro. The entire railroads across downtown Ka-gī aka Chiayi will be elevated, including Alishan railway.
Please hook up with @gabriel traveler who's also in Taiwan and seems clueless which train to take and totally unaware of these scenic train rides. He's posting boring videos of just the cities.

6:26 it’s the construction site of the Chiayi elevated railway section (set to finish in December 2025) Taiwan is rebuilding its railway lines into elevated/underground sections recently.
That ride, though! Did you know that rollercoasters in the UK were known as "scenic Railways" at one time? It seems to have been forgotten.
I was enjoying the journey very much until I felt I needed to use the facilities, only to find out that a guy lock himself up in toilet for what it seems ages… 😂
