小さくても絶景！無料！駐車場完備！そうだ前浜展望台に行こう！ Maehama Observatory Yubetsu Town

前浜展望台は、北海道紋別郡湧別町港町45番地にある3階建ての展望施設で湧別漁港内にあり、漁港全体を一望できます。オホーツク海も遠望できますよ。
冬季には、1月下旬頃から流氷が接岸し、展望台からその様子を観察することができます。 
ただし、展望台は海岸から離れているため、流氷は遠くに見えることが多いようです。
展望台の隣には、湧別漁業協同組合直営の「オホーツク湧鮮館」があり、新鮮な海産物や加工品を購入することができます。 また、近くにはホタテがたっぷり入ったカレーを提供する飲食店もあり、食事も楽しめます。
アクセスは、JR遠軽駅から北海道北見バス・北紋バスの「湧別」行きに乗車し、「湧別」バス停で下車、そこから約1km、徒歩10分程度。
前浜展望台は、観光ガイドにはあまり掲載されていない穴場スポットですが、流氷や漁港の風景を楽しむことができる場所としておすすめです。

Maehama Observatory is a three-story observation facility located at 45 Minato-cho, Yubetsu-cho, Monbetsu-gun, Hokkaido. Located within Yubetsu Fishing Port, it offers a panoramic view of the entire fishing port as well as the Sea of ​​Okhotsk in the distance. 

In winter, drift ice comes ashore from around late January, and you can observe it from the observation deck. 

However, since the observation deck is far from the coast, the drift ice is often seen from a distance. 

Next to the observation deck is the Okhotsk Yusenkan, which is directly managed by the Yubetsu Fisheries Cooperative Association, where you can purchase fresh seafood and processed products. There is also a restaurant nearby that serves curry with plenty of scallops, so you can enjoy a meal there as well. 

To get there, take the Hokkaido Kitami Bus or Kitamon Bus bound for Yubetsu from JR Engaru Station, get off at the Yubetsu bus stop, and it is about 1 km from there, about a 10-minute walk. 
Maehama Observatory is a hidden gem that is not often featured in tourist guides, but it is recommended as a place where you can enjoy the scenery of drift ice and the fishing port.
