Jincheng (晋城), located in southeastern Shanxi (山西), is a city steeped in history and culture. One of its most remarkable sites is Huangcheng Xiangfu (皇城相府), the grand mansion of Qing Dynasty official Chen Tingjing (陈廷敬). This opulent residence, with its elegant halls, pavilions, and gardens, offers a vivid glimpse into the life of ancient Chinese nobility.
The city is also home to two significant religious landmarks. Yuhuang Temple (玉皇庙), established in 1076 during the Northern Song Dynasty, is a celebrated Taoist temple noted for its exquisite Yuan Dynasty sculptures, including the renowned Twenty-Eight Constellations. Qinglian Temple (青莲寺), dating back to the Sui and Tang Dynasties, is a serene Buddhist sanctuary set against a mountainous backdrop and famed for its Tang and Song Dynasty painted sculptures.
In addition to its historical and architectural treasures, Jincheng is known for its authentic Shanxi cuisine, especially its daoxiao noodles (刀削面). Together, these attractions make Jincheng an unforgettable destination that encapsulates the rich cultural heritage of northern China.

What a nice content it is! The old temples and their decorations are fantastic. The red lanterns are charming. The roof of the temples are made wisely. Actually there is red colour every where. (why). Is there any mith? Quing ling temple and it's artistic structures are very nice. Red lanterns are everywhere. The idols of the temples are perfectly made.
