３月１５日 山中温泉医王寺の涅槃会の様子です。
山中のお薬師さんでは「涅槃会だごまき」と云っています。
本堂は地元のお年寄りであふれています。
みなさんのお目当ては、仏舎利を表した涅槃団子。
五色なのは、お釈迦様の五体の化身とも、お骨が五色に輝いたからともいわれています。
「大震災で亡くなられた方のお弔いと不明者の無事をお参りしました」
と法話の中でご住職がお話をされていましたが、本当に今年は特別な法会だと思います。
さて、境内に集まった人にも団子が撒かれるのですが、
ここ医王寺では、なんと本堂の屋根からいっせいにバーっとやります。
撮らねばと慌ててカメラを上に向けたのがうかつでした。
かたい団子が次々と顔面直撃！
落差で加速が付いているので、これが痛いのなんの。
よく見ると撒き役のおじさん、笑いながら下に向けて投げつけているではないですか。
ちょっと、それ反則、反則。（そんなの当たれば、そりゃー痛いわ）
ということで、常連のみなさんは傘を持ってきたり、ちゃんと準備万全でした。
