  1. I love Amsterdam, and the Rijksmuseum is my favorite art museum in the entire world! I'm a huge Rembrandt fan. My favorite food is fries with mayonnaise! Never thought of that combination until I went to the Netherlands.

  2. Great to see you in NL. I binged your Alaska-Argentina trip and now its like I really know you guys.

  3. That's a great video! My Dutch ancestors were already in the states for 9 years when Rembrandt painted the Nightwatch. So, I guess I need to get back huh.

  4. I've truly enjoyed watching your travels around the world for a few years now. These new videos have a different quality to the picture itself though. Not as clear. A little less professional looking to me.

  5. My favorite meal in Amsterdam was at a restaurant featuring food from the former Dutch colony of Surinam called Roopram. It is a bare bones place with plastic tables and chairs. However the food, especially the duck curry is still hanging around my memory 12 years later. The duck curry was really amazing.

  6. Jullie klinken tussen het engels door als onze zuider buren. Wat leuk en wees welkom❤

  7. a lot of houses are leaning forward by design, they were originally 'Pakhuizen' so if you want to use the Winch at the very top — your goods wouldn't bang into the house itself

  8. Another great insight into Amsterdam folks, thanks for it & keep presenting the best of Europe 🍻🇦🇺🤘

  9. I love your videos. Can't wait to see all the European travel. Starting with my home country. Hope you don't just do amsterdam. So much more and better stuff to see.

  10. Real Amsterdammers don’t buy that expansive food I live 60 years in amsterdam next the central station and I didN’t know that we have that food I say it on YouTube from different influencers

  11. Go eat Indonesian food or Mexican food when in Amsterdam… and go to the Café "Dwaze Zaken" and have hot chocolate with cream and apple pie…And try not to get robbed or scammed… don't walk on the bike paths..

  12. It's called a 'tosti' in Dutch not toastie 🙂 But in Amsterdam everything is made for tourists nowadays and written in English instead of our own language and that is really sad 🙁

  13. We do NOT have a Bike "Culture"…we have a need for logical cheap and fast TRANSPORTATION, in a 1000 year old city, a bike is just the thing, it fits, it is fast, it does not need petrol, or a lot of parking space. You Leave your home on the bike, park the thing , well locked, at the front door of the shop, shops are usually about 10 min from your home, on a bike.. A car would need 30 min, and parking fees… So PLEASE never again say we have a "biking culture" , it is like saying Americans have a socks culture…

  14. Tulips are not really a big thing, we have many kinds of flowers, depending on the time of the year and season…Try daffodils, roses, chrysanthemum, Orchids etc.etc.. We grow tulips for the BULBS which are exported, those flower fields? The flowers get mowed off, and are thrown away, the leaves than can give the bulbs strength..
