🍁 Eigenji Temple is also known as Momiji (Maple) Temple.
As its name suggests, the red and yellow maples that fill the temple grounds create a wonderful scenery during autumn season.
Located on a hilltop, you can enjoy the whole view of Daigo Town colored in the autumn leaves.
🙏 Benzaiten, the only female of the Seven Lucky Gods, is enshrined here, and is said to bring good luck in the arts, academic improvement, and financial success.
🚗 If you are going by car, it is a little far from the parking lot, so it is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes. (In the autumn leaves season, there will be a notice not to use the temple parking lot.)

🍁Autumn leaves: Mid-November to late November
🍁通称もみじ寺と呼ばれる永源寺。
その名の通り、シーズンともなれば境内を埋め尽くす赤や黄色のもみじが素晴らしい景色を作り出してくれます。高台にあるため、境内からは大子町を一望することができ、町全体の紅葉も楽しめるお得スポットです。
🙏七福神の紅一点で、芸能の神である弁財天が祀られており、芸事の上達、学業向上、財運上昇、のご利益があるとされています。
🚗車で行く場合、駐車場からは少し距離があるので歩きやすい靴で行くのがおすすめです。（紅葉シーズンはお寺の駐車場を使わないように案内が出ます）

Fukuroda Falls is one of the three most famous waterfalls in Japan.

Huge as 120-meter high and 73-meter wide.
The water falls in four stages over a large rock wall, and gives a feel of both
gentleness and wildness.
I’m sure you will be captivated by the sight and forget the passage of time.
🗒️The poet Saigyo Hoshi in the Heian period composed a poem praising the enchanting beauty of Fukuroda Falls, saying, “You can’t fully appreciate this waterfall unless you visit it once in each of the four seasons.”
📝You can certainly enjoy its various looks throughout the year: surrounded by the green of budding trees in spring, in the cool summer months, when gorgeous autumn leaves decorate the waterfall, and in the bitter cold of winter when the waterfall freezes over.

The best time to see the autumn leaves is usually around November 10th.
日本三名瀑のひとつ「袋田の滝」は、茨城県を代表する観光スポット
🏞第1観瀑台からは迫力のある滝が、第2観瀑台からは赤や黄色に色づく紅葉と滝の見事なコラボレーションを楽しめます。
穏やかさと荒々さを併せ持つ名瀑は、高さ120メートル、幅73メートルの大きさを誇り、滝の流れが大岩壁を四段に落下することから、別名「四度（よど）の滝｣とも呼ばれています。眺めていると心が魅了され、時が経つのも忘れてしまいそうです。
その昔、西行法師がこの地を訪れた際に、「この滝は四季に一度ずつ来てみなければ真の風趣は味わえない」と絶賛したとも伝えられています。
新芽吹く木々の緑に縁どられた春、涼を求めての夏、あでやかな紅葉が滝のお化粧をする秋、厳しい寒さで滝が凍結する冬と、袋田の滝は四季折々に姿を変えてくれるので、一年を通して様々な姿を楽しむことができます。
紅葉は、例年、11月10日前後がおすすめの時期です。
