I recently checked off a major bucket list item in staying at the overwater villas of the Maldives, and in this video, I’ll share with you exactly how you can achieve the same.

(Obviously, now’s not the right time to be going to the Maldives – or anywhere for that matter. Instead, it’s the perfect time to bang out a few credit card applications and rack up the miles so that you can book your dream trip for sometime in the future.)

You’ll want to start by choosing one out of six luxurious resorts across Marriott and Hilton as your goal – the St. Regis, the JW Marriott, the W, the Westin, the Waldorf Astoria, or the Conrad.

Then it’s a matter of racking up the points via the Marriott and Hilton credit cards for a five-night stay (taking advantage of the Fifth Night Free), before booking some nice flights to get you there and putting the whole trip together.

You’ll definitely need to put in the legwork for that “once-in-a-lifetime” trip to the Maldives, but whether it’s for a honeymoon or a special anniversary, it’ll all be worth it when you’re there.

  2. I respect you for booking a room in the MALDIVES and then proceed to sit on the bed and make youtube tutorials for us.

  3. I think you missed that the Marriott has the Le Meridien and Ritz-Carlton resort in the Maldives too.

  4. Could you give me a rough estimate how much food will cost daily !?
Also if we have breakfast and without breakfast!
    Thanks

  5. I just discovered your channel. Going to binge watch all of your videos now, so much to learn. Thanks so much for the tips.

When booking Hilton’s MAldives basic villas, would there be a chance of not being able to get an upgrade to the better suites?

  6. I think this is the first time I heard him mentioned Accor. Lol

Please review them. Because they have strong portfolio in asia

  7. Aeroplan Credit Card just came out with Chase with 100k miles plus 2 flights awards certificates for up to 40k miles each

  8. I like your videos! You talk about points for travel for Canadians. Every YouTube channel I watch is all for Americans.

  9. Ricky if I was going to travel from Chicago or Florida in the US what would be the best solution for airfare? I noticed Business class is 300K points per person or 45K economy. I would really like to go 1st class or at least business and trying to figure our the best plan. Great videos keep up the good work and I am looking at beginning my points journey as I am just getting started.

  10. Is it just me or Hilton Conrad now lowest point price of 120k/night? I know this video might be a little old
