地守神社の大杉　青い玉を持つ狛犬

地守神社を訪ねました。大杉が林立する神社です。推定樹齢800年を超す大杉に圧倒されました。拝殿の狛犬が青い玉を持っていたのにも驚きました。群馬県藤岡市の山深い場所です。昨年(2024年)6月に鮎川の蛇喰渓谷と近くの二千階段を訪れましたが、そこから約1kmのほどのところです。実は、その時にこの神社も訪れるつもりでしたが、二千階段のチャレンジ（失敗でした）で疲れてしまい帰宅しました。大杉を見たいと思い、今回改めて訪れたのです。

    子供の狛犬を押さえているのと青い玉を持った狛犬、青い玉は子供の遊び道具かなと想像してしまいました。
    大杉の周りで鬼ごっこをしたらずっと逃げられそうですね😁
