a day in Shiretoko!
I started traveling from Abashiri to Shiretoko-Shari station, but be mindful that there are very limited trains running. There are multiple ways to visit Shiretoko, and I chose to travel with Shari Bus, which offers a day tour divided into three courses that are connected. I booked Course A (1,900 yen)and B (3,300 yen) online with Shari Bus, while Course C (1,900 yen) was the return trip from Utoro Terminal to Shiretoko-Shari station, which I didn’t need since I chose to stay overnight in Shiretoko. Make sure to check the train schedule and Shari Bus terminal opening hours in advance.
