This is NOT a promotional video. I pay for all of my flights and hotels (and I always tell you how much!) so I can be as honest and impartial as possible. I do not receive any special treatment that wouldn’t otherwise be publicly accessible, in fact, the hotels and airlines have no idea about my visit and that’s the way I like it!

Drat. Now I have to look up every carriers tail logo to figure out your list. 😤No Lufthansa yet?
Great review of Turkish, always wanted to try them! Nice seeing the airline scoring card at the end too. Think you have missed out on including the next 5 videos in the description?
Pls fly klm
The seat looks like a rainbow 🌈 popsicle 🎉😊
Happy New Year Kevin, thanks for a year of interesting and info rich content. Wishing you an exponentially growing viewer base in 2025!🎉
Always until the end!
Wifi wasn't working, did you try the Ethernet jack under the USB? Don't recall seeing many of those on the hundreds of flight reviews and travel videos I've consumed.
During my working life, I held Star Alliance, Gold Elite for many years and it was very useful for overseas travel. IMHO Singapore had the best lounges and United had the worst. The Air New Zealand Star Alliance lounge in LAX was also a stand out. Cheers from AKL, NZL.
Turkey frightens me, ever since I watched Midnight Express.😅
Hello here from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.. successful year 2025, congratulations on the channel….like 584
Your videos are pleasant to watch, no eye-strain. They are entertaining. Most importantly, very informative. Looking forward to more of the same in 2025.
Thanks!
Oh, thanks for that lovely long shot along Lago di Bracciano <3
You have never flown KLM?! I’m surprised 😮
That is one to add to your list 😊
Just came from Istanbul with SQ via Singapore to Sydney. Lovely airport with an amazing lounge. Turkish Airlines is my #1 for short-haul European flights.
Awesome review as always. I appreciate how you put effort into reviewing flights in economy class which is something most other reviewers don't do. Also I love that you linked the Half as Interesting video/
My TK is from last year on a trip between Europe and South East Asia. Their catering is excellent and probably the biggest aspect I liked. The seat comfort, especially on the 359 and 333 was significantly worse than I had expected. I found the seats to be a bit too low, badly padded and with little legroom. I've had significantly better seating comfort on Aer Lingus and Lufthansa recently. Another negative aspect I experienced was the rather bad customer service. My paid seat reservation got cancelled due to a minor time change of one flight and it was impossible to get a refund. After a few hours with their call center and the online customer service I gave up. So I have rather negative memories of TK unfortunately
Turkish Hairline.
Excellent video as always, Kevin.
I have a small suggestion — the graphic you added at time 19:28 is incredibly useful. However, if you can somehow add two-letter airline code (e.g. SQ) in that ranking as well it'll be easier for someone to find an airlines who is not familiar with the tail signs.
Fantastic video. Love that you pack so much information into your presentation. The side effect of watching your channel, is I'm now travelling overseas twice this year from Australia. Thankyou Kevin!
Why oh why would they call their airline Turkey when turkeys don't fly good?
Imma gunna start a US low-cost carrier named 'Turkey 🦃Air' with the tagline
'We Gobble Up The Savings For You'
Wow, Jetstar (budget airline often consolidating flights, messing up the plans of many holiday makers) ranking way above their parent Qantas ("full" service).
Thanks. I really like your Airline ranking chart. Clever idea.
Small typo in the FCO details: it’s Fiumicino not fuimicino as you wrote. Kudos for the excellent works as always
Brilliant look at an airport whose development I have followed since it was first announced, never had an opportunity to visit.
The “big bite” strategy to grab emerging markets presents some reasonable cause for concern. Some of those markets are high-risk and subject to volatility in underlying factors.
In addition the level of risk associated with increasing complexity of operations, across all functions, is significant.
The fact that they just (with all due transparency) switched on and “became” reflects the appetite for risk in this play.
Thank you for this excellent presentation!
🌷💕👍
is that ryanair at a 2/10?
The police use luxury cars in some places. These vehicles were taken from the clandestine and put into state service.
Bir türk olarak söylüyorum… herkeze sağlıklı uçuşlar
You refer to the "long walk" to remote gates-I was a victim of this trying to get to Cairo-there was no gate listed and it was a tight transfer-just made it after persuading a first aid lady with a wheelchair to l ocate the gate-and shegot it wrong.A ridiculous airport -not a lot of help offered and a lack of a gate listed.Turkish is a good airline but the airport stinks
Kevin you are ‘slipping’ – no Flip Flops!
Hello my fellow Jersey patriot! Your videos are all a class act. Always well done. That graphic with the tails of many of the airlines on your 10 to 0 scale was well thought out.
Turkish airlines are the best airline in Europe, it's ridiculous to put them on the 6th layer, they have much better services than most airlines in the 2nd layer ex: Airfrance
Will you try to mention the avg price of the ticket that it would have cost when you buy for points. (Btw this video had it for $ but just talking about other videos)
I like these videos for one reason and one reason only, they're natural and not influenced by airlines directing what to say, and they provide honest insights that feel genuine and relatable.
Güzel video 🙂
3/10 feels generous for Air India after what happened there.
Great video as per your usual standard – I don’t like the airport so much because it is always so busy when I’ve been through it and I agree the lounge for my recent transit of 6 hours made me want to scream !
Ive not flown them in economy but that looked ok for a few hours on an Airbus- I’m hanging for their non stop to Sydney
By March I expect (and hope!) we will have a CRM style dashboard in place lol
That airplane interior color scheme is…not pretty
I love the TK Istanbul lounge and have always found space to sit and eat. There is a quiet relax area – somewhat hidden but it is there
I'm sorry, but I gotta reach for my claustrophobia meds just LOOKING at those seats. A couple of hours? I could take deep breaths and Lorazepam in an aisle seat. Jammed in to the window? I'd have to be escorted off by the men in white suits with nets.
You're so funny, dude, Turkey and Turkish airlines are showing these successes despite incredible obstacles and you only give 6 points if these efforts are made. 🇹🇷
Another great video. I like the idea of the ranking sheet but for those of us that are not so familiar with all the airline tails, maybe you could include an airline code or a name?
Absolutely loved the detailed review! The efficiency and comfort of Turkish Airlines' Economy Class on the A330 really stand out. Istanbul’s modern hub perfectly complements the journey, and it's amazing to see such a seamless experience from Turkey to Rome. Great insights and visuals—can't wait to fly with them!
