🇯🇵 Walking in Anto, Mikuni | A Traditional Fishing Village in Fukui 福井県坂井市三国町安島 [4K]
We took a stroll through the Anto (安島) settlement in Mikuni Town, Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture. This area is known for its proximity to Tojinbo (東尋坊) and the famous Oshima (雄島) Island. Oshima is a small island with a circumference of about 2 km, formed from lava approximately 13 million years ago. It is revered as a “sacred island” by the local people.
The fishing village of Anto is characterized by its intricate, old, and beautiful alleyways. The traditional atmosphere is deeply preserved here, offering a glimpse into the quiet life of a fishing village and stunning views of the sea.
福井県坂井市三国町の安島（あんとう）の集落を散策しました。この地域は、東尋坊に近く、雄島（おしま）でも知られています。雄島は、約1300万年前の溶岩から形成された周囲約2kmの島で、「神の島」として地元の人々に崇められています。
