O how lovely to see that white surf, the beautiful beautiful blue sky after 40 mins of rain in the video. I'm a Malaysian and ughhh I know what our downpours are like haha
Take your time finishing your meals at local street and restaurants would be great.
So… they like to go to North Borneo Chartered Company.I mean Sabah compare to The Brook Family in Sarawak even it's still the same thing.
Haha
Those planta are called ..โTOUCHME NOT PLANTโ
My Grandma used to have those plants in her greenhouse and used to get us to stroke them so that they closed up when my siblings and I were kids.
He said wow and pointed to mountain Kinabalu.
Haha
Simply stunning trip! Now it's on my list!
โค always love your videos! I'm a little confused on why you cannot have a toilet in the backseat? I use window shades to make a little cubic hole when I need privacy๐As A single traveler. Am I safe here๐

My husband gets his left and right mixed up when he drives, I have heard its a thing that many people suffer with. ๐
Even with a bandage you wear it well Marianne ๐๐คฃ
Kit is an eater of the fuel thatโs for sure, wish our fuel was that cheap ๐!!
Or was it an age thing Chris with the wet lap ๐ค๐คฃ
Stunning views throughout and as per the norm the people are amazing and the food looks delicious ๐คฉโค๏ธ๐.

๐ฅฐ
Glad the rain stopped everything looks great in the sun.We really look forward to seeing your adventures on Sunday again ๐ x
Interesting. I thought that Borneo is rather "poor" in infrastructure. But, no. TELL US MORE ABOUT HISTORY, PEOPLE.
nice four-wheeler…. is it for rent?
Thanks for sharing the amazing views. Marianne's cow and chicken impersonations in that restaurant were hilarious, so I've herd ๐๐
yeah always top up not fill up….
Another great video, we're you anywhere near "Sandacan" as one of my friends and work colleague and his wife went on V.S.O. late70s early 80s Jimmy and David.๐
so glad you are back there was a gap in my week!!!
Looks amazing ๐ฎ
$ 3.70 USD to fill the tank? I was like wow… but turns out it's $13.70 USD, must have been a typo haha!
Loved the vintage camcorder footage! ๐ฑ Yep, mountaineering is never something one "just does." Even if the peaks were shrouded in clouds, those deep valleys sure were beautiful! ๐ฑ๐ฑ
Love the animal sounds communication style! ๐ Always effective and efficient!
Bwahhh! That is some proper downpour! Made the sunny day on the beach that much more gorgeous. One could spend a long time there before they realize it.
The distance post needs sunny Shropshire on it! โค๏ธโค๏ธ๐๐xx
8:03 fuel heavily subsidised in malaysia? only for diesel in sabah & sarawak, as 4×4 is a necessity in the many rural districts.
unfortunately not the case in peninsular ๐
Love your vlog โฆ.. YOU TWO ARE FABULOUS ๐ช๐ฟ๐
been to that restaurant.. the roti canai was ๐ตโ๐ซ
Love the scenery
Welcome back to Malaysia and especially to my home state of Sabah… Enjoy our hospitality and scenic views, but be extra careful on the road as we upgrade our main road links between KK to Sandakan, Lahad Datu and eventually Tawau… The islands in my home town of Semporna are a must-transit if you have the time… Take care.
When Maryann said everyday is a school day it reminded me of my father. My parents traveled the world. My father always said travel is the best education .
