①Lake Tanzawa
🏞️ Lake Tanzawa is an artificial lake that was created in 1978 by the construction of Miho Dam.
📸A beautiful lake that respects the natural environment, you can enjoy the seasonal nature of spring cherry blossoms, summer fireworks, autumn leaves, and views of Mt. Fuji.
🎣🚣There are also plenty of activities, making it an ideal field for outdoor life such as boating, fishing, cycling, and camping.
📝It’s a popular area with locals, but there aren’t many tourists, making it a hidden gem for viewing autumn leaves.
It’s easily accessible from the city center, so it’s perfect for a casual day trip.
② Horenji Temple
🙏 ” Horenji Temple Dainichido” flourished as a place of faith for Tanzawa and Oyama, and houses many Buddhist statues designated as cultural properties by the prefecture and city from the Heian to Edo periods.
🍁 Known as a perfect spot for viewing autumn leaves, the maple tunnel leading to the main hall is breathtaking. You can enjoy the colors that gradually changes from green to yellow, orange, and red.
Along the way to the shrine, there are a row of Jizo statues, creating a quiet and solemn atmosphere.
📝 It’s not very crowded even during the peak of the autumn leaves, making it a hidden spot. Quiet Zen stroll is certainly a must-do experience.
③Koboyama Park
📝The area around the three mountains, Mt. Asama, Mt. Gongen, and Mt. Kobo, is called Koboyama Park.

👟It’s close to the city center and at a reasonable altitude, making it a perfect spot for hiking and picnics. On a clear day, there are many scenic spots where you can see beautiful views of Mt. Fuji, Tanzawa, Mt. Oyama, and Sagami Bay, and there are also hiking trails within the park.
🌸💠🍁In spring, more than 1,400 cherry trees bloom in full glory, making it a famous cherry blossom spot, but it also has beauty in every season, with hydrangeas and mountain lilies in summer, and the yellow leaves of the mixed forest and the red leaves of the maples in autumn.
⛰️This time, we climbed Mt. Kobo, located at the easternmost part.
As its name suggests, it has a deep connection with Kobo Daishi, who was one of the best-known and most-beloved Buddhist saints in the Heian Period.
📸At the peak, there is a Daishi Hall and a bell tower. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy the view.

①丹沢湖
都心からのアクセスも良い丹沢湖で癒し散策
🏞️丹沢湖は1978年に、三保ダムの建設により出現した人造湖。
📸自然の環境を大切にした美しい湖で、春の桜、夏の花火大会、秋の紅葉、富士山の眺望、など四季折々の自然が楽しめる。
🎣🚣アクティビティーも豊富で、ボート、釣り、サイクリング、キャンプなどアウトドアライフに好適なフィールドとなっている。
📝ローカルに人気のエリアですが、観光客は多くなく、穴場の紅葉スポット。
都心からのアクセスも良いので、気軽な日帰り旅にピッタリ。
②宝蓮寺
穴場の紅葉スポット！静かな境内でゆっくりと紅葉狩りを
🙏「宝蓮寺 大日堂」は、丹沢や大山の信仰の地として栄え、平安期～江戸期に作られた県や市の指定文化財の仏像を多く安置しています。
🍁紅葉の名所として知られており、本堂へと続くモミジのトンネルは、緑から徐々に黄色、オレンジ、そして赤へと移り変わる美しいグラデーションが魅力です。
参道の途中には、お地蔵さんが連なり、静寂で厳かな雰囲気が漂っています。
📝紅葉のピーク時でもそれほど混雑しないため、知る人ぞ知る穴場の紅葉スポットとなっています。
③弘法山公園
📝浅間山（せんげんやま）、権現山（ごんげんやま）、弘法山（こうぼうやま）の3つの山一帯を弘法山公園と呼び、県立自然公園にも指定されています。

👟都心から近く手ごろな標高で、ハイキングやピクニックにぴったりのスポットです。天気の良い日には、富士山をはじめ丹沢や大山、相模湾の美しい景色を眺めることができる絶景ポイントも多く、園内はハイキングコースも整備されています。
🌸💠🍁春には、1400本以上の桜が咲き誇り、桜の名所としても有名ですが、夏のアジサイ、ヤマユリ、秋には紅葉雑木林の黄葉や赤いもみじの紅葉など、四季折々の美しさがあります。
⛰️今回登ったのは、最も東側に位置する弘法山。
その名の通り弘法大師と深い所縁があります。山頂には大師堂や鐘つき堂が建ち、眺望を楽しみながらゆったりと過ごすことができます。
