El Festival Tachineputa de la ciudad de Goshogawara es un festival de verano que se celebra anualmente entre el 4 y el 8 de agosto.
Las tachineputas son enormes carrozas de 23 metros de altura y 19 toneladas. En este festival, las tachineputas son transportadas por la ciudad de Goshogawara mientras los portadores de las carrozas y los bailarines gritan con entusiasmo “¡Yattemare! ¡Yattemare!”.
En el Museo Tachineputa No Yakata donde estuve se exhiben regularmente tres grandes tachineputas; en total, en el festival se presentan 15 carrozas de distintos tamaños.

立佞武多は、高さ23メートル（75フィート）、重さ19トン（38000ポンド）の巨大な山車です。この祭りでは、山車担ぎ手と踊り手が「やってまーれ！やってまーれ！」と興奮しながら叫びながら、立佞武多が五所川原市内を練り歩きます。立佞武多の館には3台の大型立佞武多が定期的に展示されており、祭りでは合計15台の様々なサイズの山車が登場します。

Tachineputa are massive 23-meter (75 feet) tall 19-ton (38000 lbs) parade floats.At this festival, Tachineputa are conveyed through the city of Goshogawara while float carriers and dancers excitedly shout “Yattemare!
