  1. This is great. Not just to bring in income to the locals but also to spread and preserve the cultural heritage of these Chinese minorities.

  2. Fascinating video. Thank you so much Reanne and Ben. You have so much enjoyment on your travels. I know holidays do that, but you show excitement in most places in China you travel to. Is it that much of an eye opener to any 'westerner'? Was that a special tour and banquet lunch for youtubers or can any tourist pay to go on the tour?

  3. China has a vast territory and its population accounts for 17% of the total population of the earth. Getting rid of poverty is a war without gunpowder smoke. More than 1800 basic government officer died on this road. Huang Wenxiu, 30, was hit by mountain torrents on his way back to Baini Village. Wu Yingpu, Fan Zhenzi and his wife died in a traffic accident. Jiang Shikun died in toil. They go to the mission with their lives and write with their blood. This dedication is always worth remembering.

Please learn about the deeds of Huang Wenxiu. You will be very moved.

  4. I love your videos, but I'm concerned you two will get into trouble back home for being too positive about China. To ward off charges of shilling for China, you might talk to a local guide to take you to a few really poor villages and then use BBC's grey filter for the shoot.

  5. Ben must be overwhelmed by the passion of miao ethnic girls when they flew baijiu in his mouth! 😂😂😂😂

  6. It is good to show us this trip….this is really different from other vlogs from others youtubers' Chongqing👍👍

  7. miao girls trying to get your man drunk 🤣
normally at banquet type tables for weddings, birthdays, etc… someone at the table will be taking the leftovers home. it's just because of your situation there's no need for it. since it's a fancy hotel/restaurant, I guess they would toss the food or maybe staff might take some of the untouched portions.

  8. Your thumbnail is a little misleading. China haven't end poverty yet, their still have poor people/ people need financial aid. They just end "extreme" poverty.

  9. OMG i have been to those exact same spots. The glass bridge was open when I was there and the view was awesome

  10. 4:08 Chinese Emperor don't live in small town. LOL! If you've been to Xi'an or Beijing you'll know what I mean. Maybe the "King" for the minority group in this region stayed there. There were many Kings or heads of states in ancient China, but there's only one Emperor at any time.

  11. You guys are very very lucky to be on this organised tour… what a fantastic trip so far.
The scenery alone is brilliant as well as the entertainment and food.

    Dream trip ….

  12. The government has implemented major projects to improve living standards and connect with the rural ethnic cities of China, but there are concerns about preserving the cultural identity of ethnic minorities as development progresses too quickly. However, this is still a positive step towards sustainable development.

  13. The girl in the entrance was asking you to finish the liquor 😂😂😂, I know it tastes hot, but it’s their tradition, pour drinks to people and sing dance to show you are warmly welcomed. Like I said on your last video, people can’t imagine how these villages back in 10-15 years ago as they located in the mountains, remote areas from the urban, not many people heard about these places. And the government build the highways to make connections as first step and started the renovation project, and did lots of promotion through travel agents and internet to attract people come and boost the economy.

  14. Goodonya Ben, shaped like a fanny😂😂😂now you need a poo, I love your honesty

  15. Knife trick like that is usually associated with spirit possession which supposedly protected the possessed person from the blades.
