The canal bridges, high-density small houses, and intricate bicycle paths and public transportation, connecting Central Station in the north and Rijksmuseum in the south: two famous buildings designed by Pierre Cuypers.
This beautiful canal city attracts millions of tourists per year. As accommodation in the old town became expensive, it’s recommended to stay outside the center. Museum district, De Pijp, Jordaan, Vondelpark are great areas, or the more outer ring areas of Amsterdam Oost, Zuid, West & Noord.
