Just caught this exact flight a week ago but was in economy! Similar food but minus the fruit and cheese (replaced with rice pudding). Didn't use the bathroom so was actually pretty fine with the flight. Cairo airport however was just shite

Last time I flew with Egyptair was in 1992 LHR-CAI-MCT. LHR-CAI was on the A300 in F class. The seat wouldn't recline properly. Cabin crew were useless at sorting out the problem and eventually said 'that's as far back as it goes'. During the meal service there was turbulance and the fasten seat belt sign came on. The crew went ahead with the soup service anyway with predictable results. The desert service was a large black forest gateau on the trolley to be cut at your seat. She appeared to be having difficulty cutting it but eventually I got my slice and realised what the difficulty had been. It was frozen solid and impossible to eat. The main screen movie was an old Egyptian film. They started showing it so late in the flight they had to stop it before it ended as we were about to land.
The flight on to MCT in Y the following day was on what must then have been an almost new A320. Very clean and new. Although the flight was almost full I got all 3 seats to myself. A nice meal and a quick flight. A different experience to the first flight.

I don't like sperding lies apart from the horrific toilet that i totally agree was disgusting. i didn't see anything else wrong. So pls don't choose wrong titles for your videos in order to attract followers by being dishonest .

I'm Egyptian and I travel a several times every year since the 90's and I never paid any tips to anyone.
If they ask for tips (which they never did with me btw), just say no.
Next time when you enter a toilet in a plane, make sure you're the first one since people before you were digusting.
Egypt air is one of the best air flights I have seen โคโค last month I was flying on Qantas air line of Australia ๐ก๐ก๐ก It was nightmare ๐ข regarding scheduling, flight cleaning, baggage handling as I lost my bag which returned back to me after 2 days !

I was on jet star flight from Sydney to Melbourne mid december toilet had sewer smell after i flushed the toilet
I flew on the Egypt air 787 and 737, the 787 wasn't so bad probably because of how new the plane was but the 737 was ๐, the airport also smelt like ๐ฌ smoke

I remember the Cairo airport in 1956. Before 1952 it was called King Farouk Airport. Egyptair was originally called Misrair and founded in 1932. One of the oldest airlines. My mother and sister flew them in 1947 to Lydda from Cairo because a train was bombed and it became unsafe. Also to Nicosia, Cyprus in 1950. Around 1950 Misrair merged with SAIDE that operated a route Cairo – Alexandra-Athens-Rome. It was partly owned by Italian investors and King Farouk. They operated three engine Italian Savoia planes. My aunts flew them. They were cheaper than TWA that also operated the route. They have the best fruit juices in Egypt; mango and guava so not surprising you enjoyed the strawberry juice.

As an Egyptian, Egypt air is my last option. The planes' quality dropped dramatically in the past 15 years. Unfortunately, that's the service quality of every public company.
Thanks for the Video it took me back to every happy moment when I landed in the airport going to see my family and every sad moment leaving the country ๐ข I guess I am too busy to look at details but really Cairo airport is my home and I love it even more than the best airport in the world wish to be there soooon

I recently traveled Egyptair business class round trip from JFK to Cairo and back and it was a totally different experience from yours. It was the best service ever. I tried to give tips to everyone because I know how inflation and currency devaluations have made it very harsh for those with salaries in pounds. I was pleasantly surprised that policemen totally refused to accept my tips and sternly asked me not to try that again. We in the US are becoming a tipping society as well. Go to any restaurant and before you pay they give options of how much to tip. Hotel rooms put an envelope on the night table with clear labels that indicate that a tip for the room cleaners is appreciated. Try not to pay tips to Uber drivers, you will be rated so poorly that next time you order a ride you will be getting a slower response. Go to any theme park and choose regular price ticket with anticipated long lines or pay a special fare that allows you to get ahead of the regular folks.
