中世に大流行したという謎の芸能「田楽」を日本各地の芸能や音楽を取り込み、五世 野村万之丞が現代によみがえらせた「大田楽」。山代大田楽ではカラスによって発見された開湯伝説にちなんだ山代温泉ならではの演出で行われている。今年から会場を湯の曲輪「古総湯」前に移して新たなスタートとなった。
