Winter Walk in Rain by Ancient Mound and Snowy Farmland | Asago, Japan 4K

This is a walk from earlier in the winter, actually it was the first day of snow in the area so I did a lot of walking all morning. At this point in midmorning the falling snowflakes had turned to rain, but there was still a bit of snow on the ground as we climb an ancient mound, walk by countryside fields, and through a little rural neighborhood.

The Chasuriyama Kofun we climb at the beginning of the video is one of many ancient burial mounds throughout the greater Kansai region. I have walked near a few other mounds previously if you’re interested, and there there will likely be more mound-adjacent walks in the future.
