Winter storm survival in a van. Riding out an epic 72 mph beast of a snow storm, Snownado/Tornado Real Polar Vortex Hurricane blizzard in my off-grid cozy luxury van & forced to evacuate. Surviving an even more Severe Blizzard than last year. This one reached hurricane force. Winter Van Life Camping in Extreme Snow Storm, nearly Hurricane. This was the worst blizzard I ever experienced anywhere, the winds where hurricane force, and I was hunkered down camping by a plow truck station after being told to evacuate the mountain. This was worse than the epic blizzard that nearly tore my van to shreds and the craziest blizzard of my life from before the new year, and It was awesome to film!
I make coffee, cook quesadillas, and I watch the plow trucks going about their business with finishing up the last convoys before they abandon the road . Solo van camping in snow storm.

This is my complete second winter of Winter Van Life in extreme conditions in the North, living in a van during freezing temperatures. Starting in November I go through the whole winter season of snowy winter adventures from November to April, with snow storms, blizzards, extreme cold, extreme snowfall, slippery roads and some amazing winter beauty as well.
I also show you what I learn as I go from my second winter in the van.

    You say that you had to vacate the mountain. I was wondering; you drove past a few buildings on your way out, some of which looked like private dwellings. Are there people living on the mountain and how do the authorities deal with them staying when you could not?

    I like jalapeño strips in my quesadillas. Where I had a gig, we had hollowed out jalapeños in the kitchen. find the stuff them with cubes of Monterey Jack and munch. Yumm!

    For me a Piñafiel tamarindo soda would top it off perfectly.
