Tour de Nippon in Miyakojima

沖縄本島と台湾のほぼ中間に位置する宮古島。“宮古ブルー”と呼ばれる青く澄んだ海とサンゴ礁に囲まれ、空がどこまでも広がる美しい島で5月の末に「PAPERSKY ツール・ド・ニッポン」を開催しました。1日目、今回も全国各地から集まった皆さんと宮古空港で集合し、島の東岸の新城ビーチへ。シュノーケリング、SUP、ヨガの3つのグループに分かれて、宮古島の海を楽しむことにしました。レポートの続きは以下より。

Tour de Nippon in Miyakojima (Okinawa)

Miyako Island (Miyakojima), Okinawa will be the destination for the May edition of Papersky’s Tour de Nippon. The island is world famous for it’s beautiful beaches, stunning aqua blue sea water, as well as healthy herbs and tropical fruits. Miyako Island is home to Japan’s most important triathlon as well as serves as a spring training venue for many of Japan’s major league baseball teams. Miyako Island is for Japanese the equivalent of what Hawaii’s ‘Big Island’ is for American’s a place to re-charge and power up with a full dose of natures energy.
