A walkthrough of Reirou (玲瓏) one of two top-category “Kihinshitsu” (貴賓室) special rooms (Kuon being the other) at Yado Shiontei (やど紫苑亭), a 10-room luxury Onsen ryokan that opened in 2021 and is located in Kaike Onsen, Yonago, Tottori Prefecture (鳥取県米子市皆生温泉.) The Kaike Onsen area is known for its rare saltwater hot spring, which was first discovered by a fisherman, who was said to have spotted bubbles rising from the ocean floor, about 200 meters off the coast, in the early 1900s.
