群馬県高崎市にある珍しい円筒分水堰・長野堰用水 井野神社大イチョウの枝ぶり
高崎市街地のほぼ真ん中に珍しい円筒形の分水堰があります。高崎台地を潤す長野堰用水です。世界灌漑施設遺構として認定・登録されています。開削の歴史は古く一千年以上前と言われています。長野堰用水は自然落差を利用しています。そしてユニークな円筒分水堰はサイフォンの原理を用いています。全国でも非常に珍しい形態です。動画の後半では、前回動画でご紹介した井野神社に大イチョウです。枝ぶりが見たくて再度訪問しました。長野堰用碓氷からも近くにあります。どうぞお楽しみください。

Great to see what the old Gingko tree looks like now that its leaves have dropped. it’s a very full and beautiful tree! 高崎市の円筒分水堰初めてみました。
30年ぐらい前に高崎に行ったことがありますが、珍しいものを見せていただきました。
また、その後の井野神社大イチョウ、この用水によって落雷にもめげずに壮大さを感じます。
群馬県といえば、キャベツや野菜の産地というイメージがあります。
