Thank you for being here 🙂 In this video, I visited Uchiko-town in ehime prefecture, the 5th prefecture out of my travel through all the 47 prefectures in Japan 🇯🇵

After passing through Saijo City, I finally reached Imabari City, my last destination in Ehime Prefecture. I stopped by the Towel Museum on the way from Saijo City. Imabari is one of Japan’s leading towel-producing regions, and I set out to discover the reasons behind this by visiting there. Unexpectedly, it wasn’t just about towels – it was fascinating to see various entertainment collaborations, including Moomin among others. After entering Imabari, the next day I visited Imabari Castle, and on the way, I stopped at the restaurant Hakurakuten to taste the signature food of Imabari, called Char Siu Egg Rice, the symbol of the city. After that, I headed out to see the beautiful Imabari castle. I hope you enjoy the video 🙂

  1. Roku. Fifteen cats is great, until you must clean their litter boxes, then it's not so great. I guess if you let them run outside, then the litter box is not a problem. However, outdoor cats usually don't live nearly as long as cats kept indoors. I'd never heard of this towel brand, so it must be exclusive to Japan? Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing it and narrating it in English. ❤👍

  2. Very interesting, there was much more to the place than I expected. No way are you middle aged 😊 I am visiting Shikoku in 2 months, but I don’t think I will have time to see this. Your videos are helpful in planning our trip. Thank you.
